The only place I've ever had halal food is in Manhattan. Never even occurred to me that I could also get it on Long Island. Thanks to my daughter, though, she knew about this place, so we had the good fortune of eating some from here during my recent visit to L.I. I got what I always get..... grilled chicken, rice, and salad.... of course, with the WHITE sauce. No red for me. It was really delicious, as I had hoped it'd be. I probably would have liked a bit more sauce than they put on there, but I made it work. Soooooooo flavorful. I love this stuff !!
I rarely post anything negative but need to at this point.Last week we ordered through Uber Eats and the food was great. Last night we ordered the same thing and it was disgusting. There was so much sauce on the food, it was inedible. I requested the pita be heated and one piece was ice cold. We tried caling and the person claiming to be the manager said he couldnt find our order even though we paid by credit card. They completely lost our business. I physically became sick from the food. Never again!
1st of all, i knew i was going to like this place just by the guy behind the counter. He must have been 1 of the owners since he's so happy to see you proud of his food. the chicken and lamb over rice did not disappoint. Excellent plenty of it. $11.50 for platter Snapple.

the guys in there are always really sweet and go out of their way for you. customer service is always KEY and i personally always get amazing customer service! The food, of course, tastes immaculate. they never hesitate to fill up my platter or gyro to the very brim!
I absolutely love the French fries at Shah's Halal Food; they are the best I've had in a long time. The platter is also delicious. I will definitely be ordering from their menu again!

The Philly cheesesteak and chicken gyro were both superb! I loved how generous they were with the sauces on the gyro. The fries were fantastic as well!

I can recognize excellent food when I savor it! Simply delightful—nothing more, nothing less!
