Shali's Cafe - Reservar una mesa

We went to this restaurant for lunch. My husband ordered chicken nuggets with gravy and mashed potatoes, while I ordered tikka masala. The portions were very small, more suitable for a child's meal. Even the dessert, a cake, was tiny and resembled a cupcake in size. The gravy was quite thin and ordering a curry from a bakery was probably not the best idea. The chicken in the curry was tender, but the sauce was overly sweet. Overall, this bakery is located in a tourist area, so they probably don't expect to have many repeat customers.

I've been coming to montville for many years and eating here often. eating is always consistently good, they have a great variety for many different flavors, and the personal is always friendly. sitting is obviously now limited due to covid restrictions, so it can be extremely busy during lunchtime, but they can always go their food and eat in the local park. I love especially their selection of packages available.

we visited and it was difficult to make a decision, as their menu was very extensive, all of curries, unusual cakes and aromen, burger, roasted sandwiches, breakfast, salads, lasagne etc. my Tandoori salad had soft bun that had been seasoned with tandoori and there was a lot of it. the taste was beautiful and I was later told that the owner made everything from ground up.

Shali’s is a great spot, we have been there many times. A great range on the menu that suits all tastes and meals, breaks, lunch, dinner, snack, whatever you are after. Great prices, great service and always seems to be open!

had the vegan cake and it was absolutely delicious. also eat here when we come to montville. great food, very fresh and good value for money.
