If I ever leave St. Louis, Shameless Grounds will undoubtedly be one of the places I’ll really miss. Not only do they serve fantastic food (the pulled pork nachos are the absolute best!) and excellent drinks (they even accommodate me with an extra-large glass for my mix of red wine and Coke), but they also create a space for connection and education, fostering a sense of community and inclusivity. It’s a venue for artists to showcase their work in various mediums, a hub for gamers, and home to an extensive collection of books and DVDs, along with a variety of condoms, lube, and all sorts of information on many topics. This is truly one of those places that feels welcoming and comfortable.

I visited this new coffee shop to experience its unique atmosphere. I ordered an iced caramel latte and a gooey butter cake, and I must say, the interior was incredibly cozy and inviting. I can definitely see myself coming back to relax with my laptop. The staff were extremely friendly, and my order was ready in just a few minutes! If you're on the lookout for a new coffee spot in town, I highly recommend this one—it truly passed my vibe check. There’s also a backyard area that I didn’t get to explore because it was pouring rain during my visit.

Diverse, inclusive, spontaneous, and incredibly friendly—this coffee shop is a welcoming haven. It has more personality than six books combined. The staff is wonderful and genuinely kind. The coffee is a blissful jolt to your senses, and the food will have you dancing with joy. Make sure to stop by; you won’t be disappointed! (And they have sprinkles, which is crucial for a balanced life!)

I LOVE Shameless Grounds. The queer-friendly and sex-positive atmosphere makes for a refreshing escape from the standard heteronormative cafe environment.
