I've dined at this restaurant more than four times, but after my most recent visit, I don't plan to return. I was really disappointed by the quality of the food. I ordered the rice noodles with chicken, shrimp, and bean sprouts, and the chicken was simply awful. It seemed like it had been leftover from the day before (or even longer); it was freezer-burnt, dried out, and definitely not fresh. It looked so unappetizing that I couldn't finish it and ended up tossing it away, wasting $12. In the past, I enjoyed their Shanghai fried rice, but this time it was a letdown as well. I am a return customer for take out! But we decided to dine in for the 1st time and it was horrible. It was not busy at all there was like a few tables. A gentleman sat us at our table gave us menus and water, however it took the waitress over 25 minsto even acknowledge we were there. She never even asked us what we wanted to drink we had to ask her for our drinks. We wantedto leave but were hungry so we stayed. The food was really bad. I’m a regular takeout customer, but decided to dine in for the first time, and it was a terrible experience. The restaurant was mostly empty, with only a few tables occupied. A gentleman seated us and provided menus and water, but it took the waitress over 25 minutes to even acknowledge us. She didn’t ask about our drinks—we had to request them ourselves. We considered leaving but stayed because we were hungry. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. It wasn’t served hot, the rice was crusty, and only the chicken was somewhat edible. My favorite is the orange chicken special with pork fried rice and chicken chowmein noodles. It?s been my favorite for 20+ years. I also recommend the sweet and sour chicken or pork, and the Shanghai fried rice! I see a lot of people complaining aboutthe chowmein in the comments saying the chowmein was just cabbage with hard noodles, but there are two types, so I think thewrong one must have been ordered. I always clarify to make sure it?s the pan fried noodles with vegetables which is also 44 onthe menu.

I ordered the sweet and sour pork, mandarin chicken, and pork fried rice. The food arrived promptly, but the rice felt old and was only lukewarm. The pork was overcooked and overly crispy, also served warm. The mandarin chicken was rather bland and dry, even after I attempted to improve the flavor with sweet and sour sauce (which was warm as well). On the bright side, the eggplant soup was delicious. I love Chinese food, but unfortunately, I don't think I'll be coming back to this restaurant.

Our table wasn’t clean and was also uneven and wobbly. My biggest issue was that the drinks weren’t included in the meal. I would recommend exploring other options nearby to enjoy this fantastic food.

The food was incredibly tasty and reasonably priced. However, the restaurant has an old-fashioned vibe and could benefit from some updates. Food was fabulous. Staff was wonderful. I highly recommend. You will not be sorry. ? Even came with included hot tea by request. I will definitely return.
