Our Toastmasters Club had our Annual Dinner at Shanghai Grill. 2 members went to eat there before bringing the whole Club. The food was fresh, service excellent and friendly. All of the Toastmasters members and friends commented that it was a great choice. We had...our own private room that holds 20 people but we were able to fit 21. Suggestion see the Manager, Ronnie, if you want to have a group at the restaurant. He is flexible with the different types of dishes offered and you can negotiate a price for the whole group. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Food is not that good really, they did serve the lasagna cold. They were obviously frozen and they did not put them long enough in the hoven for them to unfreeze. The good thing though is the location and eating on the first floor and...the terrasse is pleasant (not much traffic despite the season and the number of people in town). Otherwise, it was expensive if one consider what you need versus what you pay. Definetly not worth the money, it needs to be said even though this is a general and shamefull problem in Canada at this season.
Five of us dined at the restaurant and ordered various dishes. Overall, the feedback we had was very disappointing. The standout dishes were the soup and the Peking duck. Unfortunately, the crab and corn soup had a very small piece of imitation crab and was lacking in flavor. The Singapore noodles with shrimp were almost inedible. Additionally, the chicken dishes were bland. Overall, the dining experience left much to be desired.
very friendly restaurant with simple parking in the surroundings. the service is very fast and the personal exchanges with them. I regularly go there with my wife and my young child. I was there with a large group of 25 people. last minute consultation and received a great greeting and facility. we had service where they prepared special teller to our joy and they do it with so much pleasure. my favourite restaurant in montreal

I would like to recommend the Shanghai restaurant for its delicious food. I had the chance to try some dishes last night and was very impressed. I ordered the Shrimp in lobster sauce with rice and the chicken chop suey. We started with hot and sour soup followed by peanut butter dumplings. The prices are reasonable for the quality of food. The service was good and the restaurant was clean. Parking is available on the street.
We walked in on a very quiet nite. I need my service dog to accompany me. The owner was rude and did not allow us to be seated He was even smiling at us as if he was gloating. We are good clients and order...in from them often. Never again. He was so rude and did not even want to see the service card that registers my calm ,docile and obedient pup.
very difficult to find (legal) parking in the neighbourhood. with the corona situation there is a fair amount of takeout activities that do not help the ambiente. service is friendly but slow. eating is typically North American Chinese eating so nothing authentic. prices are relatively...high
We ordered vegetable stir fry and it's cold in the center. The waiter wasn't friendly and ignored our request to re-heat the stir fry. The other dishes are way too overpriced for the taste. All dishes are heavily westernized. Do not recommend if you want...taste real Chinese food

a fine quarter Chinese resto in westmount qc. excellent eating, always busy with local, service efficient and friendly. reasonable prices, large selection of food.
Food was delicious. Service is excellent (even too fast at times). The wine by the glass is a tad expensive at 8.50$ but it was excellent.
