Shanks Town Tavern

The first and last time. I met with some friends and when I accidentally met my cup and spilled my drink (a Red Bull) I apologized to the bartender and asked for a new one. She was very annoyed and insisted that I spilled my drink and said she would charge me to clean her carpet. I was 100% sober with zero alcohol in me, so I wasn't drunk or something. She was completely rude. In the meantime, other people who were actually drunk while jumping around and getting into battles in the parking lot and they still served them drinks. Was it because we were the only Hispanics? Or maybe because we weren't regular guests? Idk never buuuut back to this place safe.

Shanks hosts the NYJ Fan Club this season and I made it out for the first time over the weekend. I didn't really eat a lot or drink but the wings were good and every staff member I had an encounter with was nice and accommodating. Their special menu for the club was a little limited but I imagine most people going here normally would be more interested in the activities and drinking so no knock for that and I'm grateful to have a nice place to suffer in watching my Jets.

Shanks is home to the South Florida Jets Fan Group meet Jets games, and let me tell you something, this place is just great!! As a displaced jet fan of NJ, down in Dolphin's country, I was amazed to find a place that meets the Jet's fan community! Terri and her staff are the best and have always welcomed us, also through our misery to observe the jets that ruin our Sunday (most of the time, lol). It really made me feel at home. Thanks again for the hostess!! J! NOW!

Typical diver. Service was a tad slow but understandable by short staff. But had fun and the bartender was friendly.

Nice place and its employees are very attentive, they make you feel that you are from the house. 100% recommended
