I went there from Owen sound to Toronto. Loved food. Fresh crispy fries and good old-fashioned burger with toasted bun.I recommend sitting inside instead of patio, though.I was sitting outside because I had a dog, what a mistake.... this small town has a lot of truck traffic, gose by with car fumes every 2 min. Also, between our table and the other table, there is an ashtray. My lap got covered with black dust while I was sitting for the burger. Regardless of the food quality, it ruined my experience as I was expecting small quaint joints for good food in old small town.The service was good and friendly.
Out of the three pub/taverns in Shelburne, Shannon's has the worst service, but their food is fairly decent. They are friendly to regulars who they know by name, but customers who only occasionally dine there are treated with a certain coldness. It's a mystery how they have a 4.5 star Google rating, but then again, the standards in Shelburne have been quite low for a while.
