"We had a lovely dinner here a few weeks ago, gorgeous ribs and Kung po chicken. Staff were very friendly. The restaurant was fairly quiet when we went but got busier through the night. Will definitely go back, looking forward to trying their speciality lamb hotpot."

terrific szechuan and humble too. When we arrived, I noticed that it was full of Chinese people who chat in mandarin. we were a table of a member of the local couple that recommended this restaurant to share the lamb hotpot for the table. the hot pot is on a special paper menu where they want to cook with a pencil the type of broth basic and all the extras they want in the shimmering bouillon. it is not published on the regular menu here. not my favourite dish, but a good choice if they want a low-fat meal in a szechuan restaurant. szechuan stir fries floating in oil. excellent lamb stock contained several thick slices of meaty backbone. we had added of enoki mushrooms, black wood ohr mushrooms, tofu skins, sticky sweet potato noodles, bark balls, fish and pork balls, tilapia slices and garnel. I wouldn't order any of the suppenbälle again. as in any Chinese restaurant I have encountered, they had a rubber-like texture that I don't like. my mother was evacuated during the war after szechuan, so that I volunteered to order a few dishes from the regular menu and was familiar with the kitchen. mixed chicken-gizzards in black buzz sauce was delicious. a kind of fleshy spicy calamari. I also ordered the Szechuan stand by kartoffel, green pfeffer and Aubergine-Himmel-Frucht - one of the classic regional dishes that is not spicy. a member of our table demanded another regional speciality of green beans dry roasted with chop meat and dried chilis. all dishes from the regular menu were excellent. the cooking standard is very high here, and on place with the best centrally located szechuan restaurants that are considerably more expensive. a delicious dinner for orders of pure rice, a bottle of wine and a few pots of chursanthemum tee came to pro head including service. one of the couples paid their share by credit card so we don't have the discount they offer when they pay with cash. booking recommended at the weekend. it was quite crowded on a Sunday night. service was very efficient.

wow, I wasn't sure what to expect, but that messed me up. the source of delicious dishes from the kitchen, the hotpot had a whack of the Chinese five spices that was beaten and alive, with only one hauch of chili felt in the back of the neck. our little serviette, at £14, had seven generous pieces tender lamb, much more than we expected for the price, and we were reached by the time we reached through them all.
