**Review Update: 04/01/2022:** One of the things I enjoy about Shari's is the option to have breakfast for dinner. I ordered the $15 country fried steak and eggs, adding an extra $1 for loaded hash browns. You can choose either french toast or pancakes as a side. The food was decent, though the service was, as usual, a bit slow. I also noticed they increased the Friday and Saturday prime rib price by $2, and it now comes with a dinner roll instead of a soup or salad.

I recently dined at this restaurant and found the service to be quite good, although it did slow down a bit towards the end as more customers arrived. The noise level increased as well, making it hard to have a conversation during dinner. I recommend requesting a table by the windows to minimize the noise and clattering of dishes. If you do sit by the windows, aim for a spot in the middle to avoid the sounds coming from the dishwashing area.
Overall, the food was good, though I believe the Chinese chicken salad would be even better with a touch of cilantro to enhance its authenticity. The restaurant has recently updated their menu with new photos.

After hearing great things about the food, we decided to try this restaurant. Unfortunately, our experience did not match the positive reviews. None of us enjoyed the dishes, as they were lacking in flavor, particularly the watery potato soup. We left feeling like we wasted $110. I communicated our concerns to the server so he could relay the feedback to the kitchen; I hope he is able to do so, as we all deserve value for our money. The server was friendly and provided good service. Maybe the cook during the day shift is better, but it’s hard to say for certain.
I had a great breakfast experience at Shari's Cafe Pies in San Bruno. The restaurant was clean, and the service was excellent. I ordered the Cinnamon Roll French Toast from their menu, and it was incredibly delicious and very satisfying on its own. Others in my group tried the Meat Lover’s Skillet with Buttermilk Pancakes, a Build-Your-Own Omelette with Stuffed Hash Browns, and the Farmer’s Breakfast Combo. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals.

This was my 1st time ordering from this restaurant I was super reluctant but I wanted to try somethey new when I received my order it was super cold they gave me a handful of French fries no special sauce no cheese. Definitely not worth $21
Shari's is our go-to place for breakfast, pie, and late-night burgers. The Breakfast Burrito comes in a perfectly crispy, toasted tortilla, and the pies are always delicious.
It's a great restaurant for breakfast in the San Bruno area. Their pies are worth trying when you visit Services are fast and price is affordable. It got a great view
I really enjoy the price of the items as well as the quality of the food. They are quick with service and door dash always gives you a great deal!
