I am passing through going back home to Maine and had a hankering for fish. Everybody tells me don’t buy fish in the middle of the country when you live in a coastal town. but they are wrong! If you’re in the middle of the country, get a fish from the middle of the country! I had two pieces of the fried catfish and I could’ve eaten three. It was absolutely perfect. If I lived here, I’d be going here a lot. It was fried to perfection and salted just right. I wish I could review more stuff, but I am on my way back to the land of lobster.
Great fried seafood with generous portions. Lightly breaded, not greasy. The coleslaw was overly dressed and skimpy, but you don't dine here to eat healthy...you dine here for the best fried seafood! Very busy with take out on a Thursday night so the kitchen was a little slow but it was worth the wait. Atmosphere is stark with bright florescent lighting but the servers were attentive and friendly. Highly recommend. Vegetarian options: No Kid-friendliness: Yes
