SharpShooter Pit and Grill

First tried this hidden gem during burger week in StL and it was fantastic. My daughter wanted to have her birthday meal here, so went today. It's not often the sides offered at a BBQ place are all good. Fries, seasoned but not salty, onion rings, not made in house but good, green beans, baked beans and potato salad all solid! Turkey or chicken is the true test of great bbq because it can just be so dry. Not here! The turkey was moist, cut easily with a plastic fork. I wish the ingredients for nachos and salads were listed on the menu. Also saw brisket chili as a specialty, should have ordered some to go. Decent wings, the buffalo wings were not hot at all. Really good food, quite simple parking. Right next to an indoor shoot area. You won't see any weapons, but you hear weapons are fired when you approach the entrance. felt completely safe. They offer a decent amount of pages along with all the main dishes that are expected. The fries are good. Green beans were good. The smoked turkey is incredible, but it's $19.25/lb??? I wouldn't go through town to eat here, but if I were reasonably close, I would definitely stop.

Visits the city for work and wanted a good BBQ? this place has not disappointed! Don't worry that it was next to a shooting, the food was INSANE. My staff and I did the pick 2 with brisket and ribs, and we also got smoked wings. Did?t even need sauce because the taste was so damn good! RECOMMENDATIONS!
