This is one of my go to shawarma places in Calgary! Not only is the food always amazing and fast, the staff has been incredibly kind. Samar is always a staff member I run into whenever I go and she greets us with the biggest smile everytime. Every once in a while when we go and see a new food we have never tried, they have given us a complimentary sample and Ive never been disappointed with the food! The passion behind their business really shows. Kitchen is always clean and always busy.My go to food is the chicken patters and my favorite part is how tasty the rice is but never oily. We also order the hummus with pita regularly and it is some of the creamiest hummus ive found in the city so...

The good: The spicing is decent. They used an inner bread layer to hold the sauces in place so the wrap didn't leak juice everywhere. I didn't have to wait too long.The bad: the wrap was room temperature by the time it got past the till. There were only 2 people ahead of me, so it didn't have much time to cool off. It just wasn't heated enough. This is probably done so it didn't burn, as the outer bread layer was extremely thin. I'm surprised it didn't tear under it's own weight. The staff were also bored let-me-get-through-the-day minimum wage workers. They didn't seem to enjoy their work. Also the Samosas didn't come with any sauce.

Excellent, delicious food here. I live nearby so have had 75+ wraps and platters over the years. Unfortunately portions keep getting smaller, used to walk out leaning to one side because the wrap was so stuffed… seems 40% smaller these days. For $17 seems like I’m getting a $1.50 $2.00 worth of meat in the wrap these days. Might have to find better bang for buck. Last 5 visits have been disappointing portion.

Every time I go there in person it's great, but I ordered online today due to throwing out my back and it seems like the large mixed wrap I got is half the size that it usually is. There's not as much stuff in it, despite getting nearly every topping, just bummed that I had to spend 30 bucks on it and not get the same quality that I would if I went in.

This restaurant is absolutely amazing! The food is incredibly fresh and delicious. It was our first time there and the staff offered us complimentary falafel and baklava, which was such a warm and friendly gesture. The food was excellent and I highly recommend this place. As a big falafel lover, I was very impressed.

Lesly at Shawarma Barlow recommended the best platter and side choices for this weary traveller. Her service was impeccable and the food was absolutely amazing. I went back a month after my first visit for the same exact wonderful experience and excellent food. This is a must for those who love eastern cuisine!

Very friendly and welcoming family business. I tried there falafel wrap for the first time. It was absolutely delicious and very filling. Also all the Ingredients were fresh and falafel were also fresh they have there own in house recipe. Will definitely be trying them out again!
