BEST Shawarma in town. We have been going to shawarma Planet for almost 3 years now, since they opened.<br/ We tried it the first time after we went grocery shopping at the T&T supermarket right across. And that was it, we became addicted to their shawarmas.<br/ They have a very good customer service, always welcomed with a smile, always clean, their portions are always generous, and best of all their food is delicious.<br/ my kids usually get their TRIO (sandwich*beef or chicken, garlic potatoes and a pop) for less than 10. They take their time to grill the sandwich, which gives the pita an extra crunch.<br/ Me and hubby get their mixed platter(beef and chicken) which is amazingly good and...

Went to get shawarma after a long day. Told the nice man there that I was having a tough time adjusting to Ottawa, because I'm originally from Toronto. Told him that I missed my family, that I'm tired from 13 hr days at school. He immediately packed more chicken and potatoes for me so I can have lunch tomorrow. Gave me a free pop and baklava. Said he'll look out for me like a brother. Faouzi really made this experience enjoyable and I am forever grateful for his kindness. Aside from the amazing shawarma, I'm giving 5 stars because of Faouzi and his great heart. I highly recommend Shawarma Planet :

I tired this shawarma restau for the first time last night and was very pleasantly surprised! Not only was it very clean but the food was delicious and the portions were huge. I have tried most shawarma restaurants in Ottawa and this one has just moved to the top of the list. I had the mixed beef and chicken plate and had the best potatoes and beef I have ever had. I would give this experience an 11/10! Will be back for sure!

This restaurant offers top-notch service, with friendly staff who remember their regular customers. While the shawarma may not be the best you've ever had, it is definitely above average. The potatoes may not be my favorite, but I enjoy everything else on the menu. Overall, it is a great place to dine and definitely worth a visit! Reserva una mesa ahora

Love this place it's close to home and so I visit once every couple of weeks minimum.  The shawarma is always tasty and the garlic sauce is excellent.  Best part of this place though is the owner, Faouzi he's an awesome, friendly guy makes you feel like you truly do matter and he really wants you to be happy.

Hands down best Shawarma in Ottawa. It's nice to go to a Shawarma place where the they take pride in the taste of the food and customer service. I went once in March and have been going every day since. They always have a good amount of traffic so ingredients are always fresh. Price is good too. Awesome.

Best in town. My wife and I go to shawarma restaurants frequently. This is definitely the best in town. The veggies are always fresh, portions are huge and staff is always pleasant. One of the only places in town to make real beef too. If you haven't tried it yet, definitely try it here first!

The food at Shawarma Planet is fantastic! I frequently stop by for dinner on my way home to Riverside South. They always serve generous portions and are consistently in a great mood. I highly recommend this place.
