Shawkat's Mediterranean

We went on a busy Friday afternoon. We had chicken shawarma, lamb shawarma, zataar bread, chicken kebab plater with rice, taboule salad, humus, and an extra side of labne. It came with 2 slices if Pita bread which is baked in house The lamb was cooked nice and tender. The chicken kebab was also cooked perfectly. It was juicy and not dried out like some places, seasoned well and not spicy at all. Overall, food was delicious, and we were served relatively quickly even though we had a larger group. The only item we were not pleased with was the zataar bread. It was hard and not soft like it was supposed to be. 5/5. Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs and booster seats

Best cabbage rolls ever, best chicken kabobs ever, best cheese manakish…and many other food items that I love. Hanaa, the owner, gives the best service. She is amazing…always gives 100% to her customers. My husband and I have eaten here for many years after moving from LA. I have to say that this gem of a restaurant is better than any Mediterranean restaurant we experienced in LA. Tulsa is very fortunate to have Shawkat’s.

Drinks were made super fast! It smelled sooo good in there. The pita bread was absolutely fantastic. The man at the front was super nice, and props to all the chefs back there cooking! Everything was great.
