Sheli's Burgers Fried Chicken

Tucked away in the plaza at Chabad Gate and Bathurst St in Thornhill is one of the areas truly amazing restaurants. Sheli's is legit, as I have travelled all over North America and ate at of some of the most established Fried Chicken Joints America has to offer. Some Examples are Hattie B's in Nashville, Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken in Memphis, Sams Fried Chicken and Donuts in Houston and The Red Yeti in Jeffersonville IN. I've had some good Fried Chicken and Southern Style foods. Sheli's is no exception, I found the place purely by Fluke after picking up my kids from a birthday party in the plaza. We stopped here to get some take out for lunch with our daughter and got some bunless burgers (with onions and mushrooms) a Cobb salad (with a friend egg and some Beef bacon bits) and a house salad (both salads also had some avocado). I had chicken on the Cobb salad and it was incredibly tender and tasty. And the sweet potato fries are great as well! It's just a little place in a strip mall, so we weren't expecting much, but the hamburgers were really good, and the salads were quite tasty as well. The help there was excellent incredibly friendly, and they have a wonderful set of condiments and add ons. A little on the pricey side (but all kosher meat is these days), but the beef and chicken...

Staff so rude and arrogant Ordered food on line, went to pick it up and was told it would be 15 mins late Food was ready 40mins after it was supposed to be ready Staff did not give a damn. NEVER received such bad service and never seen a restaurant front of house person who could not have cared less. I use Uber and order food often but will think twice before going back again. One of the burgers (of four ordered) was cold others were good.

The umami of the morning glory burger is second to none. The richness of the beef bacon with the celebrity soft centered fried egg and fresh beef give this burger the best combination of flavors. Of course add to this some grilled mushrooms and the standard lettuce and tomato and you won’t try another burger again

Discussing staff member. Used to go in and order. Staff member told me could only order of line but told me with terrible customer service. Used to spend at least 300.00 a month now will not spend a cent. Good hiring shlomo!
