A favourite to many. Whether it be for fish & chips by the water or a relaxing coffee. Shelly Inn has a deck and kerbside tables close to public parking & ammenities. The take away option provides delicious seafood etc for families picnicing along the creek. The staff are friendly, efficient and cater for dietary requirements. Dine in or takeaway, plenty to choose, quick service, friendly staff, awesome food, peaceful location, great prices. Plenty of parking nearby, can get very busy though. Tables available inside and outside of this historic building, no need to book. Check out some of the areas other history by looking at the pictures decorating the walls. Close to the docking trawlers, food is always fresh. We usually order a meal deal and dine in, this comes on a huge plate, with fish, chips and salad for $14.50, great value. Highly recommend.

Ducked in for a quick lunch on a long weekend. Obviously everyone else had the same idea. Not at all surprising, once we started to tuck into our fish, chips and calamari. Wow, was it great... Really crispy and golden and definitely not greasy. So that explained the huge crowd. We would have to say it was worth the wait. The fish was so fresh and tasty, everything was cooked to perfection. Price was pretty good too.We will be back again.

Wonderful reviews, long ordering cue snaking out the door, we were getting just a bit excited.....until we tried our fish and chips! Crumbed whiting really overcooked which ruins whiting, and the chips left a very strange taste in the mouth as though the cooking oil needed changing?? We went there on Easter Monday. Big line up but the order came out quickly the staff were friendly and the fish and chips were golden and crisp. Huge pieces of fish and delicious tender calamari. Fish and chips on the grass overlooking Cabbage Tree Creek, wonderful!

We spent a very relaxed lunch here for my husband's birthday. Has fairly new owners and the difference us incredible..lovely and clean and family friendly. Recommended for a good fish and chip meal.

Nice and quiet compared to main water front and quality if food was pretty good. Serving of chips very small so if you have a crew of people, order more than you normally would!

food here is solid I thought they would have fish and chip combos, but i admit i was exasperated by the menu.
