We ordered via Just Eat. We ordered the XL, large chips amd x2 Garlic dip. It came up more expensive than usual but hoped for a new turkish. Food arrived 45 mins late and only because i called the restaurant, otherwise I'm not sure anything would have happened. I was told the driver had knocked and told by who had answered that nobody had ordered food. (given this was paid for, I would have expected a call, as is usual). So the driver calls me back complaining he is on the corner amd can't find me (note it is raining heavily but the doors are numbered clearly). Ordered via Uber eats. Wrong order delivered. Phoned to let them know, they didn't believe me and were slightly argumentative on the phone. We had to open everything and tell them what was there compared to what we had ordered. Was told to Re package and wrap the food, not touch it and the driver would be back with the correct order which had clearly been delivered somewhere else before it come to us. Still items missing so had to call back again. 30 minutes later the rest of the order turned up with some complimentary baclava. Went to my friends for our Christmas get together and he wanted to use SHEN KEBAB for our dinner having previously ate here and it was so bad i gave the meat to my dog and even he didn't want to eat i strongly recommended we use somewhere else or just eating toast but he wanted it SHEN KEBAB didn't disappoint it was utter filth flabby meat warm salad stale bread and the Donner meat was more greasy then his teenage sons face having phoned them to complain the woman gave us a barrel of abuse unbelievable... SAME OLD SHEN KEBAB UTTER FILTH.
The staff at both shops are very friendly, but there are some suspicious individuals like a man named Reeve G. If you have a problem with the owner, why spread negative comments everywhere? Do you even know who the owner of Shen Kebabs is and what goes on with the staff and customers? They deal with difficult people like you on a daily basis. On Monday, January 25th, I visited a restaurant that completely impressed me with their 100% halal products. The portion I received (a mix of meat and chips) was huge, as you can see in the photos I took. It was so delicious that it made me a loyal customer. A group of seagulls would need to call for help from their crow friends to finish the dish. Subhanallah (Awesome)!
Ordered food through just eat. Had confirmation it was on way. Waited 30 mins from confirmation and rang restaurant said it was on way. Waited another 30 mins rang again and was told they didn’t have the order and didn’t know what I was on about. Person in restaurant was very rude and put phone down. Never order again
Website is different from what you get delivered. Just don't bother phoning up after your delivery turns up cause they couldn't give a toss! Boycott these places and demand better. Never again. Lamb is chewy and inedible, the best thing is the doner kebab (which you already know is ****)
