Shenandoah At The Arbor

I had a party last night for my goin away party at work. My party consisted of 18 guests. Shenandoah did an absolutely incredible job going on and beyond expectations. The food was so delicious. But what made the party shine was the staff. The waitresses Briana Malia and Busboys Gustavo Ruben were the best team I have ever seen in a restaurant. They were so extremely attentive and caring. They made me feel like our party was the only party in the restaurant!!! I have been going to Shenandoah for over 10 years with small parties and always been content. Last night however was exceptional and my best restaurant experience ever! I think the 4 staff mentioned members above were the main reason....

This is easily one of my favorite restaurants in this area. I love the overall decor and atmosphere of the restaurant, making it feel like I am in a more intimate and cozy setting. The food was absolutely delicious and well worth it. We started off with the shrimp cabo for appetizers and they provided us complimentary apple fritters and bread. I got the fish cake melt and my family members got granny's fried chicken (it was a sandwich though so not sure if that is a different menu item) and the galveston pasta. Shenandoah is a long established traditional restaurant serving everything from steak, fried pork chop, gumbo, to fried chicken. Service was a little slow, but the comfort food made up for it. The fried pork chop was crispy on the outside and yet juicy on the inside. They greet the table with apple fritters and dinner rolls . The dinner rolls are more like a muffins but they are kind of dry, but the apple fritters are fluffy and is more like dessert than dinner breads.

Great time for Easter Lunch with the family. I normally get the pistachio crusted fish but this time I opted for the country Fried pork Chops with mash and gravy. Food was delicious, was impressed by the apple fritters and fresh bread they gave I highly recommend for lunch or breakfast as they have a nice outdoor area.

Really impressed with the place... beautiful patio to eat at on the outside..it makes feel like you're somewhere away from the city...food is good had the Granny chicken w/mash potatoes...tasted the pasta- good too...next to this place are some craft shops really cute n beautiful things to get for the home to decorate

This place is hidden if you're not looking for it. Very nice little place to come have a nice evening with your loved ones. Outside seat is a must! To be out gave us the summer feeling during our dinner. Come out and try it! They won't be disappointed.

Such a cute place! Outdoor seating is beautiful especially during the evening. Food is so tasty! They come around with apple fritters and biscuits that are a great starter. Hidden gem for sure ??

I loved this place. Food was delicious. I had the fried tomatoes and Chili Verde soup. The outside eating area was fantastic; service was awesome. Seating is spaced perfectly. Coffee was good.

Beautiful outdoor area to eat at. The food was delicious. We had the prime rib and the pistachio crusted sea bass. The fried green tomatoes were great too. Service is swift. Easy 5 stars.
