Shepherd's Crook - Reserva de mesa

My wife and I go to Georgetown a few times a week and like to eat at various restaurants there. A few months back we decided to to here and have a beer and some wings....went really well, food and service was good. A few days ago we wanted some fish and chips and went back, didn't disappoint! The onion rings were really good too. It's a typical pub with good beer and food, you won't be disappointed.

Maybe it's just me, but I've yet to have a good experience at the Shepherd's Crook to the point that I can't bring myself to recommend the venue to anyone. Solely based on my personal history with this venue, the service has always been slow to the point of being painful. The food, while it smells good outside, the actual meal never quite delivers a satisfying finish.

This is my go-to spot when friends and family visit from out of town. They are always amazed at the freshness, taste and quality of the food. Our meals never disappoint and the background volume is so minimal that we can have decent conversations without having to shout. I love it here and will continue to return.

Enjoyed the different taps and the four of us each ordered something different from the menu. I would say the food is ok and you get lots of it for a decent price. I am still eating leftovers :)The service was a bit slow but we weren't in a hurry so it didn't matter. Reserva una mesa ahora

This is my second time in the past few months that I have received unsatisfactory food at this pub. The Lobster Mac and Cheese was clearly microwaved instead of being baked in an oven, which was disappointing.

The food at this restaurant is pretty good, if a bit simple. I highly recommend trying the chicken schnitzel sandwich. The curry was tasty, but the naan bread that came with it was lacking.

The food was tasty and the servings were large. The server was very friendly. The decor was a bit outdated but not too bad. It was quiet, especially when there was no live band playing.

Great selection of beer, nice chicken sandwich fresh bread thick tomatoes and crisp lettuce and great bruschetta.

cold soup, slow service.. tasteless. i think its better to go there for fish and chips.. i wouldn't return
