Many years ago I moonlighted at the bar next door (now of blessed memory) and we used to hit this place afterwards. I always stop here on my way to/from New England and it never disappoints. Visited again this week and was pleased to see it is still in business and has been refreshed inside since my last visit. My food (chicken salad club) came out very quickly and was fresh and tasty. Both my waiter and another young guy working were attentive and friendly. Sad to see like so many places it's no longer open 24 hours... maybe because the bar is gone!
I stopped at Sherwood Diner for the first time during a trip from Bloomfield, CT to New York after our car broke down. While waiting for the tow truck, we decided to grab a meal. We were seated quickly, the service was top-notch, and the food was exceptional. The steak and eggs stood out as especially delicious! I would gladly drive an hour again just to dine here.
We stumbled upon Sherwood Diner by chance and were absolutely impressed! The menu features delicious dishes, and the restaurant is spotless with a bright, welcoming atmosphere. It’s a perfect choice for breakfast or lunch, delivering that classic diner feel without any of the sticky surfaces you often find in older establishments. Great job, Sherwood Diner!
what happened to this diner? I used to love it for years. I ordered the Eggs Benedict Benny, it comes with avocado. it was disgusting. The avocado is not fresh, it came from a jar with horrible after taste. I don't mind the price a little high) for good food, which it wasn't. They need to do something if they want to stay in business. not going again

the avocado toast was fantastic! I loved the idea of feta with cherry tomaten. it is not just a beautiful presentation, but it tastes good! the egg came separately and so I have ploppled it up as I am a texture, a savory arta girl. the only reason for four stars and not five was this terrible acidic coffee?
we stopped here for lunch. good location as it is near the autobahn (I-95) and is on the boston post rd. I thought that both the restaurant and the bathroom are clean. the personal was friendly and attentive. our food was good and there is much to choose.

I wish this place was in my state. You couldn't ask for a better diner. Everything was so good. Service was fantastic, food was amazing and the prices were so reasonable.
Great service. Quick and easy. Great prices for the portions served! I would recommend. I got the western omelette
