We love this restaurant. We are regulars and brought our friends this evening after some debate about the region's best Madras! The curries were as good as it gets, as usual, and the service really is fantastic. My friend was given a free pint after accidentally spilling one. Very much appreciated. Thanks for a lovely evening and we will be back in a couple of weeks!
Shikari remains the standard for authentic Indian cuisine in my opinion. The food is top-notch, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere always feels like visiting family with a warm welcome. It surpasses other Indian restaurants in quality and the prices are reasonable. Our family loves celebrating special occasions at Shikari, it truly is the best.
Just had a lovely meal here ,really lovely restaurants food and everything was excellent , Shaz served us and was very friendly and cannot recommend enough , even my 13 year old said “ best Indian ever , great tasting , service was great , decor was great , overall fantastic experience and he would recommend to anyone !” Thankyou
I have dined in and ordered takeout from this restaurant for years, and it has never failed to impress. The appetizers and main dishes are excellent, with just the perfect amount of spiciness. I highly recommend this place if you are in the area. Reserva una mesa ahora
Everything about this restaurant is perfect, but because it is always so busy, sometimes the meals are a bit delayed for pick-up. However, they make up for it by offering a free Cobra beer.
We ate at Shikara twice during our visit to Whitley Bay. Both times were excellent. The food was great, the service was great. Would gladly eat there again.
