After having a horrible experience at Shingle Inn Kawana I was hesitant about getting my hopes up again. But the Caloundra store never disappoints. The manager or owner (older gentleman) served my daughter and I for breakfast. Had a chat, was so lovely and made the best coffee ive had in ages! The paris eggs benedict was a massive serving too. Restored my faith in the chain, thankyou!
A great place for a coffee break, breakfast, Lunch etc with quality food and great friendly service.I often go there with the cycling group 2 or 3 times a week,they are very accommodating with the small or large groups. Nothing seems to be to much trouble for the manager and his staff.I've been a regular customer for a few years now and have never been disappointed with the service.
Start of our holiday so we stopped for a quick lunch. Service was courteous and friendly. My friend and I chose a toasted ham sandwich which was generous and tasty served with side salad and chips. My husband had a chicken and avocado sandwich which he said was really fresh and delicious. Our coffee was to our individual taste very acceptable. A good place for a tasty snack.
This Shingle Inn is well worth going to, great selection of items on their menu, and as stated the service was great.My breakfast item was the smashed avocado, which was delicious. One issue I wish restaurants would stop is to putting the meals on boards, they can be awkward, other than that we loved our breakfast after walking the markets on the Sunday. Reserva una mesa ahora
We visit here a lot, we ordered the melts and they were disappointing, very small piece of bread, cheese not melted! but still cool. We also ordered hot chocolates which were actually bland, as if not enough flavour. Chips on the side were good. This was at the end of May.
I ordered a beef burger with cheese, accompanied by a coffee latte. The burger was delicious. The coffee was made just to my strength and was superb. Shall definitely go back. It is just so refreshingly relaxed to dine alfresco and watch the world go by.
When we visit the Sunshine Coast we always have meals at the Shingle Inn. It not only has great food and lovely staff, but there is an ambience about it that few other restaurants/eating places have in Caloundra.
A relaxing town and just situated off sunshine coast, shingle inn comes adorned with two statues of grey owls. Owls you say? Owl definitely be there and Reserva una mesa ahora
Staff very helpful and friendly service amazing Burgers ,crunchy flavoursome sweet potato chips very enjoyable lunch! Would highly recommend.
