My real rating is 2.5. Pros: 1) The place is big and the tables are fairly distanced. 2) There is spacious outdoor sitting. 3) The place is nicely decorated and is clean. 4) The food portions are large. 5) The food is very clean. 6) The waiter gave uscomplementary tahdig and hummus which was nice. Cons: 1) Service was horrible! Waiter(ss) were not attentive. Took them 20 minsto bring water. Asked for hand sanitizer and didn't bring and we had to get it ourselves. Didn't refill the water and didn'tcheck on us to see if we needed anything. (Maybe checked once) 2) The food is not delicious! Not that is tastes bad, it justdoesn't taste like real kabob. The food here is so good! Came here on a whim and so glad to have found this place. The staff is super nice and accommodating too. I ordered the wrong thing (my own mistake) and the staff told me to try it and see if I still wanted to get a replacement.I loved it and kept it but the fact they they were willing even though it was my fault is amazing. Would def come back! Not sureif the man who hosted us was the owner but whoever he is, he is very welcoming and sweet!
The Persian food at Shiraz is outstanding—surpassing even some of the best I've tried in LA, which is saying a lot! The kabobs and salad were exceptionally fresh, juicy, and bursting with authentic flavors. I would rate the food, service, and ambiance all a perfect 5.

A Local favorite, I?ve heard the name for years. Finally decided to try it, but there are a couple of better options for authentic Persian food in Great Neck. Not as good as the other two, but it?s the only one with a large outdoor seating area.

Food was pretty good and the overall environment was homey and nice. The staff were very attentive and did their best to make us feel comfortable and sated.
