Shiraz caught my eye a couple of months back as it is one of the newest dining spots in downtown White Plains. After the previous tenant, Ichiro, closed down, I was wondering what was going to take its place as the restaurant was pretty spacious. As soon as I heard that it was not only a restaurant but a wine bar as well, I got excited since I feel that's exactly what the city needs. I was thrilled to discover the new location of Shiraz. The food remains exceptional, just as it was when they were in Elmsford. The hummus is a creamy delight, served with pita, feta, radishes, walnuts, and a blend of fresh herbs like mint, tarragon, and basil. I never expected that the addition of fresh herbs could make hummus so refreshing. The grass-fed filet mignon is unlike any I've ever had—tender and bursting with flavor. It's definitely a must-try, and it's a generous portion, too! The grilled vegetables, particularly the albaloo rice, are what bring me back here. Shiraz sets a new standard for restaurants in White Plains. The wine selection is vast, and the food is expertly prepared. I've had wonderful experiences dining at the bar and enjoying conversations, as well as gathering with a large group of friends at a table. The waitstaff is both knowledgeable and friendly! Shiraz is definitely a fantastic choice for a night out.

The restaurant was SO beautiful, Adila was an amazing and attentive host. The food was so fresh and so delicious. They did not rush my girlfriends and I out, and the drinks were divine. Came in for office meeting lunch and the place is spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. The lunch menu is fabulous....you get good portions and everything on the menu was tried by our party and we loved everything.....i recommend this place highly. Will be back .....

Excellent ambiance that was upbeat and energetic. Food was great as always. So nice to see them bounce back after their last location in Elmsford was affected by a fire. Would highly recommend!
