we really liked the dinner here. came as a group of 4 and ordered: chickenminze with green beans (sty) sizzling ei tofu (delicious) meeres fruit kway teow (very good) roasted rice (delicious) pan roasted toothfish (delicious) the servings are very generous and the price design is very affordable, we have paid a total of $120 that we have for the quality and in portions. the staff was friendly, eating came in a good tempo and byo was another big plus. only on the bottom was the restaurant absolutely packed (on Saturday night) and tables were very close together so we could hardly move. but will definitely return soon to try more dinge from their menu.
Would have given ZERO star, but had to give 1 star. Terrible experience. 1. Dirty cutlery 2. Staff unable to take order correctly 3. Took 30 minutes for food to come and another table that came later, got their food first. 4. NO VALUE FOR MONEY! 5. Manager/owner is rude, poor attitude and unwilling to take feedback 6. Noodles was undercooked 7. When one of the dishes ordered did not come, the waiter said “there is nothing I can do” Definitely do not recommend this restaurant!!!!!!!!!!
The restaurant was quite cramped, with little space between seated customers, making it uncomfortable for larger individuals. The cuisine is a fusion of Australian and Chinese flavors. However, the service was quick and friendly, and the food was delicious with generous portions. Although it can get very noisy, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, reflecting a local vibe. For vegetarians, there is a delightful mixed sweet bowl on the menu.
I can't give zero rating. they do not worry about this place unless they want to be insulted by an arrogant waitress who knows nothing about the dishes in the offer, but rather pretends something else. her arrogance escalated when you were found to know. the service was the worst thing I met everywhere. there is no excuse for her behavior and I understand that other diners have offered similar feedback to the owners. fantastic! really beautiful aromen, looked nice on the tellers and waiting staff were also great. Ceiling decoration/light is also a wonderful note. first visit, but will definitely think again that this might just become my favorite Chinese! tables are quite close together, but all the mozens seemed happy and we did not hear any talks from other people.
The squirting bark and the deep-fried eggplant were fantastic—definitely a thumbs up! However, the rösti and the Szechuan fish were a bit disappointing, as they didn't stand out in terms of flavor. The roasted duck was excellent. Overall, it was a pleasant experience for a family dinner at a new restaurant. Food: 4/5, Service: 5/5, Atmosphere: 5/5.
Shi Like is a top Chinese restaurant. Since it opened under the apartment block, it has displayed numerous paintings. I would recommend dining in, as the experience is much better than taking out. Portion sizes are generous, and you'll always leave feeling full and satisfied. Highly recommended!
Went a few times and initially was impressed. Some good dishes but once I ordered the seafood clay pot and tasted like it had been made several days earlier. Can’t get over how bad that dish was and Haven’t been back since

Ordered cashew chicken, kuay teow and special Fried Rice. Amazing food so fresh and tasty. Nice Chinese, one of my favourites. Huge takeaway portions.
my always popular Chinese restaurant. delicious food, always hot and fresh. the salt and pfefferschod is a real winner!
