Shoney's - Reservar una mesa

I always look forward to going to shoney's because it's kinda far from me so I don't get to go often but this time i was a little disappointed. The food on the buffet was kinda cold and wasn't as good as the other times I went. There were also several plates and forks that weren't really clean and for some reason there were 2 employees just standing there in the middle of the food line and when I said excuse me so I could get to the food they were standing in front of they looked at me crazy. With that being said I will probably go back the next time I'm in the area. Hopefully they were just having an off day. They were super busy so maybe that was part of the problem.Kid-friendliness: They have some claw games and little stuffed toys for sale for the kiddos. I played one of the games and won something on my one and only try so that was cool. I gave it to the cashier who said she would give it to her little sister.

Definitely not the way of Shoney's of old. Food was mediocre at best. Mashed potatoes tasted like instant. Country fried steak came with white gravy, yet potatoes had beef gravy; did not expect that nor like it and it was very salty. Definitely run down and had seen better days.

The first time I ate here was great! Recently, the food bar was awful! Food had no taste at all! The staff was not very friendly! Dishes were filthy with food and grease on them! Overpriced menu for stale food! I will not return...

Server was very good and on the ball ensuring that everything was good and that we didn't need anything else.
