The service at the Bakery Department can be hit or miss; some employees are not very friendly when answering the phone, with the exception of Annie. When she answers, she’s always cheerful and incredibly helpful. When I call to inquire about a specific product, she promptly checks its availability and informs me when it will be baked so I can pick it up. Unfortunately, other staff members sometimes respond as if I'm inconveniencing them just by calling. I also believe they don't produce enough pumpkin pies. After I tried to clarify my situation, she walked away as if she found something distasteful. Then, she proceeded to complain to her coworkers about how customers don't know how to use the kiosks and always want to blame the staff. It seems like she matches the description of a person that Tia F. and her unfortunate husband encountered. If that's the case, then she should definitely be let go. I’d rate this experience zero stars, but I had to give it one since that was the lowest option available. This was the last straw for me with Shoprite; I've faced similar issues with her more than once. I will be taking my $1,200 monthly grocery budget elsewhere.

Fruit, veg are good. Good standard tofu selection. Gluten free and vegan products could be a bit more expansive. Easy to navigate. Checks out area is easy and quick. Commercials on in store radio are a bit loud, could be turned down a bit, content is repetitive. Bit more lighting, maybe on shelves or veggie bins, feels dim in some spots, but overall easy to look around, find tags to compare. Carts aren't wonky in good shape and well stacked don't need to hunt for one.

Shop Rite of Garwood is the best Shop Rite in the area. The best selection of literally every item vs other Shop Rite stores. Helpful staff. It's maybe the 4th closest Shop Rite to me but it is worth the drive.

Shop Rite was too expensive. Used to be the lowest Supermarket in the area. I think Acme is catching up with low prices and it's an easier store to shop in

Finding parking can be challenging due to the limited size of the parking lot. However, overall, it's a pleasant ShopRite.
