I strongly advise against shopping at this store. Instead, head to the Drexel Line location. On a Wednesday, I found them to be out of stock on almost everything. There was no one at the customer service desk and no sign indicating when someone would return. I asked for a customer service representative and then a manager, but to no avail. The employees I encountered had quite a rude attitude. When I inquired about the location of several products, they were absolutely no help; they wouldn't show me where to find them or even tell me if they were available in another aisle. While ShopRite is an expensive supermarket, I found their gluten-free, vegan, and healthy food section to be quite small. Unfortunately, they don’t seem to prioritize healthy eating. I had to search throughout the store to locate gluten-free products, as they're scattered in various aisles.
I also experienced some issues with customer service; the employees were rather dismissive when I asked for assistance finding an item, and I eventually had to approach a manager for help. Additionally, I noticed that a lot of the hummus on the shelves was either expired or nearing its expiration date.
Overall, ShopRite isn’t among my top five favorite supermarkets, but it’s still worth a visit to see...
Went here and had the meanest worker I asked her what was the difference between two peppers because my wife sent me for sweet peppers she gave me a dirty look and said “it’s pretty obvious that they are sweet peppers” then walked away from me I then asked another worker and they helped me a lot but the original worker I asked continued to give me dirty looks from afar I’ve never had a problem here before shopped here for a couple years now. She was skinny and had black glasses and was the rudest worker I’ve ever had to deal with
Not a fan of this store, as I found fish in the freezer fully defrosted. Not just a few packages, but all the way down to the bottom of the freezer! I told the manager and the person running the seafood dept. the seafood person told me it was probably customer returns! I watched as they removed all of the defrosted fish and took it in the back. But who knows if they opened those packages and put it in the fresh fish counter. Will never but perishables there again!

I've reached out to customer service at ShopRite on two occasions—once for a ShopRite card and once for a birthday cake—and both experiences were disappointing. The staff were rude and unprofessional. There were no smiles, no greetings, no expressions of gratitude, and no farewells. It felt as though my presence was a bother to them, and they didn’t want to engage with me at all.
This ShopRite experience was very frustrating. I was asked to leave the self-checkout and wait in a regular line instead. When I requested assistance from a heavyset woman with gray hair leaning against the counter, she refused to help and just kept directing me to the checkout line. I could have already left the store, but instead, I was stuck waiting for a slow cashier.
I honestly came here to leave a negative review. The reality is I have had plenty of above satisfactory visits here. I mention the negative intentions as an example that it is easier to get motivated to say something bad about something, no matter how good it actually is.
ShopRite of Glenolden is a spacious store that offers just about everything you could need. However, my only complaint is the strong fish market odor wafting from the seafood section.
