Shoprite Wines Spirits Of Emerson

This ShopRite in Northvale appears to be on a downward trend, and unfortunately, it's not great in almost every aspect. I hope it doesn't end up reaching such a low point. Personally, I'm not a big fan of the Inserra-owned ShopRites, except for the one in Ramsey, but sadly, they seem to have a monopoly in this area. A much better option is the ShopRite just across the border in Pearl River, NY, which is owned by a company called Glass. It really feels like it's part of a different chain compared to the ones in Bergen County.

Called before i got out of work to ask if i can return these beers. They said yes i came in and waited in line for 10 minutes now getting told both managers left for the day they could not give me a refund. The black girl really felt bad but i don’t understand how there’s no management at night. It wasn’t even that late i called at 4 and got there around 5. Then what made me more mad is the manager in shop rite couldn’t help me he gave me the same answer the clerk in the store did.

Called this store asking for a specific rare bourbon. The associate said they had it and I had asked if they can put it on hold. The associate told me that no one would come by the same day and buy it. I went to the store about 45min after calling and it was sold. To ask for a simple hold on a bottle that I intended to purchase within an hour of calling is very off-putting.

As a lifelong resident of Emerson, I have always done most of my grocery shopping at the Emerson store. Unfortunately, it is no longer the place I want to get my fresh fish, meat or vegetables. The bakery is quite pitiful too!! Don't know why the owner has let the loyal residents of Emerson down...it is disgraceful! I have another grocery store in which to shop Reserva una mesa ahora

This location no longer provides hand baskets for shopping. When I inquired about them, I was instructed to either use a shopping cart or carry my items. However, all the shopping carts available were either in the parking lot, broken, dirty, or being used by other customers. This decision by management has been poorly thought out.

Management doesn't do much for customers. Carts are not cleaned out from garbage, definitely not sanitized. Many of the carts are damaged There are never many cashiers. Wegmans is cleaner, brighter. Carts are kept clean and sanitized as you walk in. Plenary of cashiers and employees on floor helping. Worth the short ride.

I came to the Emerson shoprite before work to get a cake for an employee on the last day, and when I came here, the sign says Bake Shop Hours 7am to 9pm is 8:50 AM and I say no one can help me until the person comes at 9am. Now I'll be late for work. Don't post when nobody can help.

We've been visiting this restaurant for 10 years and have never encountered any issues. The staff is always very respectful and polite during checkout. They also offer a great selection of drinks and beers. Reserva una mesa ahora

They recommended an expensive rare bourbon. I ended up buying it, but it was not as advertised.
