Shorty's Pizza Shack

First of all, we are new to the area. We looked for awhile trying to find a place we wouldn't regret. We read several different places' reviews and landed on shorty's as the place for supper. Wow! We we're not disappointed at all. I would give you a 10 if that was an option. Our meat lovers 18 was the best I've had since I was a kid, and that one was over 1,000 miles away from here. The cheese pizza 18 was just so satisfying. The meat lovers pillow was the bomb dot com. I will definitely be back. Not sure I have a need to try any other pizza place from here on out. Recommended by a friend. We came to Happy Hour and dinner. Parking was full and difficult to find a place. The college students went to the restaurant. Probably the best approach, park the road and go back to get food. Once we sat outside. The waiter was there fast to take our drinks orders and give us menus. The food selection was good and was quick. The place was overcrowded more and more, but it wasn't too bad. It is most decidedly a student favorite. Great food, great atmosphere and the terrace is dog friendly as I saw that one of the waiters bring a dog harness from water to a pup outside. Really cool.

This is perhaps the best pizza I had. I'm from DFW and I make it a point to fall through Shorty every time I happen to Waco. Small inner surface, but decent terrace. Pizza through the slice is also quite cheap, and I love the mini pitchers they offer for beer. The owner himself hangs around a decent crowd it seems and everyone is super friendly. Love this place!

It's 3pm on a Tuesday (not a holiday) and I'm Nom-ing on SangrITA and slices of paprika...for $3,50! They don't make dives like that anymore. God bless you, ashamed. Happy Hour prices are legit. Absolutely amazing pizza place with delicious pizzas and pizza pillows. Cooked to perfection food, excellent staff and very cool ambience, which I can ask otherwise! Definitely on my favorite pizza list!
