It is a good place for a snack in La Faute, located directly to the harbor-bridge. It is ideal to eat with children. But be careful, when your kids are running around: There is a huge parking-ground immediately in front of the patio with a...lot of cars. The service was fast and friendly. The price seemed ok to us. The seafood was very fresh and tasty. Certainly it is not nouvelle cuisine' at show moules. But if you look for simple seafood, moules and hot fries, an affordable price and a friendly service, you are right here.
I will give only 2 stars because the products are excellent. but how bad it is that hygiene rules are badly respected (not badly cleaned, sticky laminated menus, no masks in the dining room and in the kitchen) and my professional eye observed that in the kitchen we find the plate of the fries with their hands after keeping the sponge, they feel the dish to know which muddies. too bad. there are potential. only lack of consciousness.
I do not recommend this place at all! lack of hygiene: the laminated menus and our table were sticky! no respect for distance, the waitress does not wear masks, kisses the customers she knows! in the kitchen also no mask! two customers came to sit next to us for lunch! no respect for customers: this restaurant should be closed for all these reasons! In addition, half of the mushes were not opened and served in a well carved plate.
Well, for the price we won't ask for more. The mussels were good, the fries, maybe review the cooking. If you like moules and wine then this is the place to go. The food was always very tasty with a small selection of non moules dishes as well. Lovely creme brulee. Incredible value for money made even better with good quality cheap wine. Located...amongst the shellfish retailers facing the roundabout. Very welcoming.
The moule were served plump fresh and flavorful to let the food do the talking. The other fish dishes were not disappointed either. As a family we would really recommend staying here over the sparkling looking restaurants in the area. Great food and great value
