Shuckin ' Shack Oyster Bar in Wilmington, NC, is an absolute gem! Having visited about six times now, I can confidently say it 's one of my favorite spots. With 8 TVs dedicated to sports, 16 draft beers, and a vast selection of bottles, cans, and signature cocktails, it 's the perfect place to unwind. Starting off with a cup of clam chowder is a must it 's the best I 've ever had. The menu is packed with delicious options, making it hard to choose just one entrée. Their seasonal oyster selection is always a hit, and they also offer an impressive variety of clams, shrimp, mussels, and crab legs. My personal favorites include The Greggah, a fresh lobster roll straight out of Boston, and the Bl...

Food was fine. Service was polite but a bit hovery for most of the meal and then slow at the end. 2 BIG Issues: 1. We watched 2 roaches circling tables the entire meal. 2. We arrived at 6:30pm and it was pretty empty inside. Besides the bar, there was only one table. They sat us at the worlds smallest 2 top but over half the table was taken Up by buckets and a box of sauces that neither of us used. I could not use my right hand to grab anything without knocking things off the table we asked to move to the surrounding 4 or six tops but were told no. However, the only other people who came inside for tables was a party of 2 like us and they got a 4 top. By the time we had our dinner and our dr...

After a 8hr drive we could not wait to get our hands on some food. This place came highly recommended by some friends that used to love in the area and it definitely held true to the hype. We were able to call in our order ahead of time so that we could take it to our final destination. The person that answered the phone was friendly and very helpful. My husband ordered blackened mahi and tuna tacos, both were delicious. I ordered the crab cake sandwich with fries and coleslaw, also delicious and a warm welcome back to Carolina. Would definitely recommend to friends family, we will return on our next trip to Carolina. Reserva una mesa ahora

I really don’t know where to start, but let’s start with service. The service at this location is the tip of the iceberg for me. After walking down front street with our big dog, we were turned around by multiple restaurant/bars. Staff greeted us with open arms and put us in the back patio area overlooking the cape fear river(beautiful) the food was absolutely spectacular and the drinks were ice ing cold! Oysters were plump and delicious while the wings were crispy and saucy just like they’re supposed to be. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

This place is great. The setting is intentionally "shack "esque with local artifacts and promotional items for decor. They have a great local beer list and the food is fresh and delicious. Parking: We parked on street. Easy walk to restaurant. Kid-friendliness: There were all ages enjoying this place. Wheelchair accessibility: Rear entrance allows wheelchair access.

Dark bar eatery. Wait staff not well informed about what they serve hard for them to answer basic questions about where seafood selections are sourced, or what grade, etc. More like a bar than a restaurant in atmosphere. Didn't stay to eat.

Sat down at the bar, not busy, 3 tenders back there. Dropped menus, said nothing, walked away and we sst there for several mins. We were invisible. Finally got up and left. Their loss. Horrible service. Reserva una mesa ahora
