"Tasty ramen but a tad salty. Go to Mr. Ramen San for a better ramen. Heard this place opens 24hrs, so, would be a handy spot for those late nights!"

Food: Shujinko has to be one of the best ramen places in Melbourne! The Shujinko ramen was delicious. Huge, filling portions, it's just like a hug in a bowl! The broth is so tasty and the balance of ingredients worked so well. Atmosphere/service: I love it's cosy atmosphere and really friendly service. It can get a bit crowded when it's very busy, it's a small restaurant and tables are fairly close together, but it always has a lively feel and staff make an effort to be attentive and helpful even at peak times.Would I recommend it: Absolutely! The highlight of my ramen journey so far! Probably not the best option for date night, but for a cheap, quick and filling eat, it's the place to go! T...

The steady stream of visitors around 10pm on a gloomy Wednesday evening was a giveaway this place was a cut above the average ramen joints that dot Melbourne's CBD.Customers seeking a ramen fix are crammed into a tight dining room with a boisterous atmosphere. You may have a short wait out the front, but it's thoroughly worth it for the bowls of soulful soup noodles. You can try the traditional tonkatsu version or the tsukemen is a rich porky broth heavy with sesame seeds. The noodles themselves are springy and slippery, making for a heady combination. There's other treats on the menu such as eminently morish takoyaki, but its all about the ramen.

I have always loved Ramen. If it's on the menu, I'll get it every time. The staff and food here are both outstanding! I come here once a week on average (sometimes 4) and every time I receive the same incredible food and the same lovely welcome from the staff. Wait time is usually 10-15 mins during rush hour but it is absolutely worth it, especially in winter!Wouldn't recommend coming in a group more than 4 people and remember there are usually people waiting to be seated so don't stay and chat after you've eaten xo

About 7pm on Sunday had to wait approx 20 mins for a table for two. But they have some seats to wait. Not a large place but you don't feel too cramped. I had the shujinko specialty the standard ramen. A good size for me. It came out quite fast. I enjoyed the ramen but did find it a little too garlicky. Slightly unusual for ramen? Also can order sake or a beer to go with your ramen. Definitely enjoyed, and the decor does make you feel a little like you are in Japan. Reserva una mesa ahora

We came here late one night after having been out with friends. We had ramen, dumplings and pork belly. The ramen soup was thick and full of flavour, dumplings were crispy and the pork belly was just a melt in your mouth type. The fishcake soup had a mild spicy kick to it and filling. It was delicious and belly warming food on a very cold winter night.Loved the One Piece characters on display, made me like the place even more :)

Not all ramen are created equal! I have had a lot of ramen and this place has one of the best broth by far. It has a wonderful flavor without the intensity that some has that is almost over-powering. The noodles are equally beautiful. One of the best thing about this place is it is open 24 hours! Love the Tokyo izakaya feel and look of the place.Great alternative place to go for a healthy late night feed.

I'm a hard marker for ramen, having eaten a bunch in Japan. Thoroughly enjoyed Shujinko's, had their standard bowl + chicken karaage and gyoza and two beers. Slightly over $50 for lunch for two which was a tad pricey, but it was a decent meal.

Lovely little joint just a block from main Melbourne CBD. Good quality noodle and beautiful broth (especially the spicy one!) ~ always a crave as it's perfect on a chilly night out or in a hurry. Gyozas are Yum too. Reserva una mesa ahora

Went there for a business lunch, shared a serve of gyoza and had a pork ramen. Comfort food, so so good. Lovely staff, very attentive. You can feel the food doing you good.
