The physical appearance of the place is very Uninviting. The lady behind the counter makes it even more dreary. Her stoic, cheerless character adds a somber tone . But, it's pretty standard Asian customer service. I can speak with authority on the matter because I'm Asian. Although I worked literally up the street for decades, I came here for lunch for the first time. Ordered the pepper steak lunch special. I expected the worse, half cooked fried rice, drenched with soy sauce. But, No, the food was actually good! The fried rice had good texture, and the pepper steak was not drowning in soy sauce! Low grade for the person at the front counter, but the cook is on-point! Or are they one-in-same...
Absolutely love this Chinese restaurant. Since COVID happened they have the set up in there a little wonky but it’s for the customer and worker’s safety so I understand. They utilize health precautions to ensure everyone is being safe while in the restaurant. They even have this table looking door to transfer meals from their side to your side which I thought was creative. In regards to the food I love everything in there. My go to is the boneless spare ribs with pork fried rice combination plate with a can sprite. The meal costs about $12 and it comes with an egg roll if it’s a combination plate. Very good food and very filling.
We were first-timers. Ordered a sesame chicken meal and general tso's meal with chicken fried rice and a sweet and sour meal with pork fried rice and a couple of egg rolls. All of the food was good. The portion size was good for the price. The lady at the counter was really nice and patient with us, considering that we came shortly before closing time. The only thing that I didn't care for was the atmosphere, the plastic barrier up separating them from us completely, and the box that you have to get your food out of. I'm not sure if it was up before covid or due to covid, but it seems so impersonal.
I had the fried wings (plain and extra crispy) along with the fried rice, and it was a fantastic experience—definitely a 5 out of 5! The wings were well-seasoned and perfectly cooked, while the rice was flavorful without being greasy. Highly recommend!

This is one of the better Asian restaurants in the area. The prices are reasonable, and the food is served hot and delicious. I would give it a five-star rating if it had seating and fewer obstacles inside.
The best Chinese restaurant on the East side! Every meal I've had here has been fantastic. The prices are reasonable and the customer service is excellent. I will definitely keep coming back!
