Wir sind in Saarbrücken und nicht in Thailand, das wird beim Probieren der Speisen im Restaurant "Siam" natürlich sofort klar, d.h. die authentische Schärfe der Speisen ist zugunsten der "empfindlichen" deutschen Mägen stark abgemildert, der Geschmack vereinheitlicht. Trotzdem ist das “Siam” das zu bevorzugende thailändische Lokal, wenn man sich zwischen den dreien, auf der Mainzerstrasse gelegenen Restaurants entscheiden muss. Der Reis ist ausgezeichnet und auf den Punkt zubereitet, das Gemüse ist knackig, die thailändischen Standardsuppen (Tom Ka Gai) sind zu süss, sonstige Thai Standards sind geschmacklich gut, aber nicht herausragend. My ingredients were super fresh. The rice could be eaten with sticks. Which speaks for the preparation of rice. The vegetables were cooked to the point. My hand tasted not like chewing gum but was nicely crisp and looks intense in taste. I can recommend anyone blind there to eat a very cheap. Therefore 5 full stars!

Whenever in Saarbrücken, we eat in this restaurant almost every lunch. For many years, they prepare freshly every dish and in the same excellent quality! When we go for supper it is of course a little more expensive but still, in high quality.

Had a great lunch with my wife at Siam today. We both enjoyed a daily lunch special which included an appetizer, lumch course and a drink for under 9€. Highly recommended for a great meal in Saarbrüken!

For years we have been eating almost every lunch here when we are in Saarbrücken, sometimes even in the evening. Nothing has changed to the high quality of food as well as the friendly service!

Very lovely lunch. Daily specials and lots of variety on the trilingual menu. Nice service. Waitress was very helpful in choosing. We were served quickly. Highly recommend this restaurant

Normal asian food, good and fast service but the meat (beef and duck) was not the best The environment was nice and quiet.
