Overall decent experience and staff was very responsive but the food was only a little better than mediocre. We started with the meatball and antipasto appetizers. The meatballs were large and were pretty good but at $6 a piece they should be fantastic. The menu description for the small antipasto is kind of misleading since it mentioned romaine lettuce, celery and garbanzo beans but none were included. Before you order the small, read the description for the large antipasto since it is accurate. The crostinis were not crisp, the bruschetta was not enjoyable and we did not know what to make of the caponata. This was definitely not what we expected for $16. a couple of friends and I work around the corner of sizilien ofen and recently added it to our lunch rotation. takeout pickups are always fast and punctual and eating is just great. they love the wood stove taste on the pizzas and especially the chicken parm sandwich, which is one of the best I ever had. the brot is something special, and it is just a clean, light sandwich that has the right amount of everything without making a chaos. wish we thought to order from here earlier, but can wait?t to try more dings from the menu and enjoy some stellar Italian eating a few times a week from now on.

can not say enough good things about this restaurant - both eating and personal. we have recently organized a birthday party with 40 people and worked closely with courtney to coordinate the event. from the beginning courtney was responsive and so easy to work. the night of the event, the personal was so pleasant and accommodating for our guests and the eating was delicious! days later and our friends are still talking about it!

Delicious pizza that came out hot, the crust was slightly brushed with olive oil. It was perfectly cooked. The Bruschetta was also very good. Prices are reasonable, the staff is friendly and they have outdoor seating. Definitely recommend and will be back.

By far the best pizza I had since I lived in Canarsie and Avenue L2 visited are famous pizza shop!
