Tried to call ahead...when I finally got through no one said hello or can I take your order. Arrived 10 minutes later while still waiting for a response. I can see now what I was able to hear. The young man had 2 phones at the register and I explained I was still on the phone and no one bothered to say hello or take my order and the older lady that was standing with the young man did not seem to care but proceeded to say we were busy....so disappointed. The only thing the young man said after I explained what just transpired was...do you want to order....wow!!
Sidwell’s catered our party of 25 last night and everyone said the food was delicious. Stephany made tenderloin sandwiches and frankly, this host did not get to try one because they were eaten by the guest; same went for the stuffed mushrooms. I can highly recommend Sidwell’s! I really enjoy this restaurant. I just wish they had a dining room and stayed open later. The food was delicious and satisfying - a fantastic example of Southern soul food cuisine.
Delicious fish, burgers, meatloaf, bread pudding, and banana pudding cake, but seriously the hospitality and kindness were just as good! We can’t wait to return!! Thank y’all!

May not be able to find a place to sit and eat at this hole-in-the wall place, but it has excellent soul food for a good price in Jamestown.

Delicious, flavorful food. Love the Mac Cheese! ????Had with Green Beans, Meatloaf corn bread, all good!!! Good value for lunch.
