If you love terrible service and average overpriced food then this is the place for you!Went for dinner with my wife and another couple. Was expecting premium fine dining Chinese food and a hefty bill. We got the hefty bill but not much else...Firstly, had to wait for our table to be ready - even though we booked weeks in advance we waited and were then finally taken to our table set for 5 people. The moment we walked into Silks we were impressed. Very much a silver service style restaurant, the décor was a little over the top but suited the general ambiance of the restaurant. The staff were very attentive and we were soon seated and the menus and drinks list provided. I was a little disappointed that they were out of Tsingtao beer but settled for a Tiger. We took our daughters out to see Matilda the Musical , and had a meal at Silks beforehand. It was such a waste of money, the service was appalling, I mean really appalling . They gave us all a huge wine list when we sat down and put one specials food menu in middle of the table !!! When we asked for the correct food menus they snatched the wine menus from our hands. Must say what a disappointing experience this restaurant was compared to all the other high end restaurants in Perth which we regular visit. From the very start you could tell that the staff were disinterested and inattentive. I had to ask for a new drink every time for myself and my wife with the final nail in the coffin having to ask for the waiter to come back and wipe down the table after the plates were collected. Silks is positioned as one of Crown's premium restaurants however unfortunately failed to deliver. The decor and ambience is quite nice, but sadly is spoiled by the underwhelming and overpriced dining experience.Despite ordering a number of signature dishes none left a lasting impression. For example, the fried rice for $38 was bland and less tasty than a $5 food court option. There are many other Chinese restaurants that offer superior food for a fraction of the price, and if seeking a premium dining venue within the Crown complex we would certainly recommend an alternative option.

Great décor & tables properly spaced for a quiet conversation. Service is pretty good but you do need to call the waiters over to get more water. And the food, well, pretty ordinary. Supposed to be Chinese but I think its meant for Chinese born in Australia whose parents can't really cook Chinese food or for people with limited understanding of Chinese cuisine. Yes, it's expensive but that's expected.

While the food was exceptional, we found the whole dining experience to be underwhelming.We were seated in an area that felt seperate to the main dining area and for the most part I felt like we were forgotten. There were lengthy delays in having our orders taken, but the food was relatively quick in coming out. The food was delicious, but expensive and let down by the poor service we received.

If you want to experience the so called worst food ever, then it is the best place to try. We had lobster during the lobster promotion and was dismayed at the quality of the food. Never visit this place again. I do not think this restaurant will last... Reserva una mesa ahora

We had lovely food, but unfortunately the service was lacking. Slow with drinks, prawns served to allergic husband despite prior advice, one main didn't arrive and apparent lack of care regarding the poor service.

Ordered a $25 entree...three dumplings, they were delicious but the price was outrageous. Two entrees, one champers and one G &T...$85...suffice to say we didn't stay for main course!
