The Food was great the atmosphere was inviting. The views were peaceful and serene. You have the option to order with your phone from a table of your choosing or stand in line to order pay then choose a spot to enjoy the fresh air waiting for yourpager to buzz to pick up ur food. After enjoying your burger or hot dog, you can walk over to the Caboose for some perry's icecream which won't disappoint can enjoy it with taking a stroll or snagging a spot on a swing or bench to watch the sunset orjust relax. This definitely a great way to close out an eventful day.
This restaurant is a historic gem transformed into a remarkable casual dining destination. The prices are quite affordable, with a wide variety of options available, and the food is excellent. They clearly excel at comfort food! The views are stunning—truly a million-dollar landscape that you won’t find anywhere else. I’m eager to come back and sample the locally made ice cream and soft serve; I have no doubt Soft Serve Idaho will leave a lasting impression! Just give me about an hour!
Was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant on a random Monday night visit to Lewiston. The silo is a perfect place for a quick bite with a scenic view of the Niagara river, and Niagara on the lake. The menu offers something for everyone, and not to bemissed is their Haystack their house special (as seen on Diners, Drive ins and Dives). The food is great quality, and therestaurant is what I lovingly describe as cheep and cheerful. Accessibility note: wheel chair friendly, with ramps.
Friendly staff and a simple ordering system—just wait for the buzzer to go off. The salmon burger was cooked perfectly, juicy instead of dry like at other places. It came without any condiments, and it would have been helpful to know that upfront so I could have either ordered some or added them from the condiment bar. This charming little restaurant is a delight! The food was absolutely delicious, particularly the expertly crafted burger and everything else we tried. The kids' meals even come with a free ice cream, which is a wonderful perk, and the small caboose features a fantastic selection of dairy treats. The view is beautiful too, with grassy areas that are perfect for relaxing. I highly recommend this place!
This restaurant is truly unique, offering breathtaking views and delicious cuisine. Most of the seating is located along the edge, giving a fantastic view of the river. The food was outstanding, and the sweet potatoes were the best I’ve ever had. The sandwich was not only huge but also amazing. There's an ice cream shop next door, making it an ideal stop. It's definitely worth the trip from town!
The prices are somewhat steep, but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. I enjoyed a tasty double bacon cheeseburger, although the fries were only mediocre. The large drink was more akin to a medium, but it's great that they provide free refills. Unfortunately, I didn't have the opportunity to sample the ice cream stand.
Paige did an outstanding job recommending the original haystack, which consists of ribeye steak topped with mozzarella cheese and roasted hashbrowns. The dish was truly incredible, and the customer service was top-notch. We will definitely be coming back and will recommend this restaurant to our friends visiting from Indiana.
