Earlier this year, my wife and I had tried the Silver Diner for the first time at one of their locations near the DC area. Since we were close to home and didn't want to miss football Sunday, we decided to give the Cherry Hill location a try. I get the just egg Benedict which is so amazing, and then the hibiscus milkshake every single time so good. They also have new tofu skewers, a roasted veggie ciabatta, pineapple basil stir fry, tofu banh mi, roasted tomatoes and veggies over rice, beyond meatballs Mac and cheese (with cauliflower instead of pasta), and a beyond miso burger which is vegan if you take out the sour cream, and then so many vegan sides too! I love the just egg Benedict so much I’ve never tried anything else but I’m sure it’s all good!
I usually get the breakfast Just Egg tacos or the vegan Just Egg Benedict. They have a good variety on their menu. More than most. My fav. is the Just Egg breakfast tacos. A lot of good flavors. I eat there often. The wait staff is great. The prices are a little high, but they are in line with the rest of the food on the menu. Typical looking diner and atmosphere. I also usually get a side of breakfast potatoes cooked with onions/peppers. They are really good.
I hadn't visited Silver Diner in years, but I was pleasantly surprised to see it had great ratings on Happy Cow since I became vegan. I tried their delicious blueberry pistachio pancakes with non-dairy whip and agave (as a substitute for maple syrup), and they were fantastic! It's uncommon to find diners in San Jose that serve pancakes, so it was a special treat. The menu is extensive and caters well to a variety of diets.

Great atmosphere! I love 50’s style diners! Friendly staff and the ambiance is incredible! The chicken noodle soup was really tasty but 9 bucks for a bowl is a little steep. The burger could have used a little more seasoning but it was ok. I wasn’t a fan of the gravy I think it had carrots in it or something it kinda tasted weird. Apple pie was killer . I’d definitely come back when I’m in the area
I’ve been to Silver Diner a few times and I’ve had great meals until now. We had the crab cake Benedict and sandwich which was both ok. The crab cakes had more breading than crab meat and lacked seasoning. I wish the spinach on the Benedict was sautéed instead of raw, that made it harder to eat. The hibiscus lemonade was very tasty. Our waitress was very nice and attentive.
Silver Diner is quickly becoming one of my favorite places to eat out! They have a ton of vegan/plant based options to choose from! Things are clearly marked on the menu. The food also tastes great!
the menu got a huge update and now is very vegan friendly! i love getting the vegan oatmilk pancakes for a late night meal. they are supposedly very high in protein too!!

Limited vegan options but what I ordered, the curried cauliflower pasta dish, was delicious! It's a bit pricier than most diners.
