Silver Dollar Pancake House

Here goes my first experience at this restaurant. I ordered blueberry pancakes with hash browns, no eggs, bacon and sausage. I also ordered coffee. We walked in and it already seemed a bit busy at 8:05am. A gentleman asked how many and we said party of 2. He pointed to an area. We selected a half circle table near the window. The seating area was uncomfortable because the table was too rectangular and big for the area. Every employee was working hard and kept checking in too much for coffee refills. Classic American breakfast diner. Felt like I was in a movie. From the weight of the coffee mug, the American flag on the wall, the local business cards under the glass of the table, to the epic pancakes and classic American Breakfast. It was all perfect. The blueberry pancakes were the best I've ever had. The coffee with free refills hit all the right spots. The Silver Dollar Breakfast special featuring 2 eggs the way you want it (i asked for over easy and they nailed it), 2 breakfast sausages, 3 slices of bacon, and a healthy portion of shredded hash browns was the perfect choice for a complete, wholesome Sunday morning breakfast. For a moment I felt like I was in heaven.

Another great find in Corona. The place is a bit understated but frankly, that's part of the charm. The breakfasts are generous in size and excellent. That said, the pancake variations are insane. They have a whole page devoted to crepes and pancakes. This time I ordered logenberry crepes and they were amazing. I actually drive the 35 miles just to get breakfast here, its that good

We are from out of town and saw the reviews of this place raving about this place. The reviews did not do it justice. This place is amazing. The food was tip tier. The country omelet was perfect. The salsa they give you is perfect. And the pancakes, godlike. I broke my diet to eat these pancakes. Portion sizes are perfect, staff is extremely friendly, no complaints.

Wonderful service. Delicious food. I cannot recommend this place enough. If you live in the Inland empire or passing through for breakfast, you have to stop in and at least try their chili pancakes. It is one of a kind and it's something you will remember for the rest of your life, delicious!Food: 5/5
