I won't be too harsh on this place but service was SOOOOOO SLOW and for the food I was disappointed. I felt like I fell into the place where time stood still.We walked and were greeted promptly. The ladies running the front end as servers, hostesses etc. were so nice and attentive. I wouldn't have been surprised if they were working the back too seeing that I didn't get a good look into the kitchen.The interior design felt modern with a bit of casual dining sprinkled in. Not bad looking at all. Plenty of space for movement with the placement of the tables.The menu had a mixture of different foods but the main appetizers and entrees felt like they were leaving towards Greek/Mediterranean cuis...
We made reservations for 7 people for 5:15 PM on a week night. We arrived on time and we 're seated...and the wait began. There were only 6 other people in the restaurant. The waitress took our drink order, brought it and disappeared. Other diners came in and were seated. She finally took our meals orders....and one hour and 20 minutes later we still had not received our food. When we asked how soon our order would be up we were told the owner was the cook and he was the only one in the kitchen. I asked if the owner was aware how long we had been waiting and she said that he was too busy to know; however I asked her to please make him aware. My takeaway from my dinner at Silvers Grill is that the food is lacklustre. Parking is easy as there are plenty of spots in the lot right outside, and it was exceedingly easy to get a table here on a weekday night. Decor is very simple, the service was fine, but the food was really just average I would say that I can probably achieve a similar quality at home. Nonetheless, there was nothing in my experience that made me want to stay away from this restaurant, but it would certainly not be front of mind the next time I want to dine out in Park Ridge.
For our main courses, we treated ourselves to generous servings of chicken marsala, filet mignon, salmon burger, classic steak burgers, chopped sirloin burger, and chicken Vesuvio, all served hot and freshly prepared. The owner and chef, George, along with Chef Khammay, personally welcomed us and congratulated us on our birthday celebration.
The waitstaff was friendly and inviting, enhancing our overall experience. Silver's Grill is a true gem in Downtown Park Ridge and is definitely worth a visit in the northwest.

I visited this restaurant for the first time and came in for lunch. The service was excellent! I ordered Saganaki, the Texas Burger, and Cole Slaw. The food was fresh and absolutely delicious, exceeding my expectations! The only downside is that they don't serve margaritas.
The burgers and fries at this place are absolutely amazing! The ice is nothing to write home about, but honestly, you're really there for the burgers and fries. One serving of fries is plenty to share, but you definitely won’t regret ordering one for each person!
Terrible service!!!!! Waiters were rude and as we were walking outside my little kid tapped his lights and started cussing out me, my family and my todler. Very disappointed of the people in this community. Food was also not that good.
A reminder that this business supported segregation in January February of 2022. We believe in liberty in Park Ridge ??.
