Unfortunately, I had a disappointing experience. I called to place an order for pickup at 6:05 PM and was informed that it would be ready in 20 minutes. To allow for extra preparation time during a busy period, I decided to wait an additional 10 minutes before driving over. However, upon my arrival, I was told my order would be ready shortly. I finally picked up my food at 7:00 PM without any explanation. I learned that the kitchen had missed my order, and I overheard that the front of house didn't communicate it properly to the kitchen. Once I got home, the quality of the food was lacking, likely because it had been prepared in a rush.
Simon's Kitchen is an excellent Chinese takeaway located in Dalgety Bay. While there's no dine-in option, the menu offers all the classic takeaway favorites. What sets it apart is that customers can watch their orders being freshly prepared. Prices are reasonable, and the service is quick and friendly. Highly recommended! They accept telephone orders for local delivery (with a small delivery fee). Open seven days a week, there's free parking available outside the restaurant, and it's conveniently located near local express bus routes, just 2 km from the Dalgety Bay train station.
The meals here are very enjoyable, and the staff is accommodating with allowing small modifications to your order. I've encountered many restaurants where this isn't the case, but that's not true here. If you want to add or remove something from a dish, I've never had an issue with it.
very nice take out meals and the staff allow to you make small changes to the dishes when you order. I find a lot of places don't like you doing this however this is not the case here. If you want something added into a dish or removed I've never had an issue

I've been coming here for years and have always enjoyed the food. Every time I see the dishes being prepared in the open kitchen, it makes me even hungrier than when I walked in just a few minutes ago!
Been coming here for years one of the best Chinese restaurants. We have friends in Canada and when they come to visit, they always insist the first meal is from Simons kitchen
My first time ordering from here ..although it took an hour to get to me..when it dif it was piping hot and very very tasty ...will most definitely order again .
The food here is consistently excellent, featuring fresh ingredients and incredibly efficient delivery. I highly recommend it!
