This place is awesome. Very warm and clean space, appealing presentation, unique products, not overpriced, well-trained staff and smiley faces. It is one of the only few places in Ottawa where they make real Italian coffee. I am taking about using top quality beans and and a professional coffee maker to create a short and creamy espresso or voluptuous latte and mocha. Their desert and sandwich are all made in the open kitchen where you can see them being made. The desert and biscotti are what could find at various places in Italia. Three of us went for a snack - we ended up with more than an snack because we couldn't make up our minds what to order. We ended up ordering two sandwiches, a slice of frittata and a bagel with smoked salmon, three coffee and sweets! All were very tasty and fresh. Sadly, there were issues with the items that were supposed to be warmed or grilled. While the outside of the sandwiches were nicely toasted, the interiors were still quite cool - not what was expected. Service was also a bit off. Staff didn't seem to have clear roles and all were trying to deal with our order - as a result, there was confusion and delays. That being said, I'll go back, the food, especially the deserts would be well...

Amazing bakery - small and quaint.Staff was fantastic - 2 young girls gave us details about many of the desserts, and were very friendly.If you buy 6 or more baked good - its tax free. Which is good to know, if you can't decide on just 1. (that being said - the prices are VERY reasonable to begin with, for the quality you are getting)We purchased many of the baked treats...they even have italian lobster tails here (a flaky pastery filled with a bavarian custard...which was to die for!!!)Would recommend in a heart beat, and can't wait to go again!!We strolled down here after an italian dinner at La Favourita - such a nice way to finish off the night.

Large open concept space is welcoming and contemporary. Comfortable seating capacity with lots of room between tables and delicious food! Panini and biscotti are authentic ingredients made with care.Variety of sandwiches and sweets is superb. Good quality coffee and made fresh soups round out the experience. Just returned from lunch. A very nice little spot in an out of the way industrial area. Excellent selection of lunch sandwiches of every possible variety. I couldn't get to the dessert side though. I asked if they had half sandwiches but no ... I settled for a biscuit with brie and tomato. Very tasty. The dark roast coffee was fresh and excellent.

My daughter has a sweet tooth so there is no way of passing by the shop and not stopping to get those delicious canolli. Wow! So creamy and not to sweet. The eclair is also a great choice. I love the service always happy and the Italian music in the background. The paninis are a great option for brunches.

Amazing Italian pastry, my favorites are Tiramisu, cannolis and fruit tarts. I also enjoyed their biscottis while having my coffee. I am such a dessert addict and if I tell you this place is the best you better believe it :)
