I absolutely love this restaurant, and I'm sure you will too. It's a hidden gem offering outstanding Mediterranean cuisine. Though located in downtown McLean, it's a bit off the main path, which affects its visibility. The menu has a wide variety of options with a Lebanese-Moroccan flair, and the flavors hit your palate right away. I especially enjoyed the beet salad and the yogurt with pita bread as appetizers, and the salmon entrée was simply delightful—melting in my mouth. Hadn't been back for breakfast since Simply Fresh became TAV, It was disappointing. Ambiance is very nice, service was excellent. But the menu changes were disappointing. Now only one eggs Benedict choice--crab--instead of previous multiple choices, and it wasn't very good. Some kind of crab salad instead of chunks of crab meat. I used to enjoy the large cappuccinos; now they offer only an overpriced mini-cup. Clearly cost-cutting moves. Wanted to take out a cup of their good Illy coffee, but they couldn't accommodate me. Farewell Simply Fresh, I'll miss you.
Had an absolutely wonderful meal tonight at TAV the retooled restaurant that used to be Simply Fresh in McLean. The owner, Rana, is hard working and doing everything she can to keep going. I love the new atmosphere and enjoyed the crispy potatoes, grilled chicken skewers which were delicious and lamb kabobs. The food was great. Rana is wonderful and I hope folks will check out TAV for a nice meal and good service. It's tough to run a restaurant these days which why we need support TAV in McLean and committed owners like Rana.
A hidden gem in McLean! We've dined here on four separate occasions, and each time we've been thoroughly impressed. It's located in a small building near the intersection of Old Dolley Madison and Old Dominion. The menu is fantastic, with a strong Mediterranean influence. The beet salad is absolutely divine, and the shrimp dish is incredible as well. You absolutely must give this place a try at least once!

Enjoyed a great brunch at TAV this morning. I had the Shakshuka with ground beef and it was outstanding. Shakshuka is one of my favorite breakfast dishes, which TAV perfectly seasoned with a nice spicy kick that really made it stand out. The place looked great on the inside, with several nice tables outside which I'm looking forward to trying once the weather is a little cooler.
We were a group of 5, we ordered tav crispy potatoes, forest mushrooms, lamb kebab and Chicken skewers, stuffed seasonal vegetables, seafood Tagine and 2 umm Ali. As an Egyptian who'd know how the real deal tastes like, I thought the food was good. Service was a bit slow but I believe that'll hopefully change if they have more staff and support from the community.
Super fresh food, really outstanding and personal service. Lovely out of the way location, very cozy (serene) outdoor sesting this late summer. I had the Shakshuka with beef, and it was absolutely delicious. Add a nice hot coffee and you are done, full and happy. My wife had the Mediterranean omlette, wow! We will be back again and again.
I give this hidden gem in McLean top marks for its quality, service, and ambiance. The gourmet food and drinks are absolutely delicious, and the service is outstanding. A huge shoutout to Rana, Ramsi, and the chefs—definitely a 10 out of 10! I love this place!

Really good good food. Cooked by an expert chef. All our selections were tasty. We had the Branzino and kebabs with mushrooms. Um Ali for dessert was a perfect end to a delicious meal. Highly recommend this place.
Amazing food. Gem of a find. We were in a group and we tried half the things on the menu and everything was super tasty. Will definitely go there again.
