Singapore Garden continues to impress with their 5-star meals. We have dined in the restaurant a few times over the past 6 months, but this weekend we decided to try a takeaway instead. The customer service is always outstanding, whether we are ordering in person, dining in, or placing an order over the phone. Dinar, who is always at the front of house, deserves a special mention for her welcoming and friendly demeanor. I placed a takeaway order and arrived early to pay for my £69 meal on card. While waiting, I decided to have a pint but was informed that there was a minimum spend of £10 for card payments. I pointed out that I had just spent £69 on food, suggesting they refund me for the food, add on the drinks, and then I would pay for it all together. However, I was refused and informed that there would be a 50p surcharge for spending under £10. It is worth noting that Mastercard and Visa do not allow merchants to set minimum spends, and it is illegal to add surcharges for not meeting a minimum spend. I made a reservation for six people on a Saturday night at 7pm. The restaurant was busy, but the service was quick. The portions of food were generous and the quality was excellent. I will definitely make a reservation here again. We ordered too much food, but they were very helpful in packaging it up for us to take home. Now, I have some leftover Chinese food to enjoy on Monday. The prices were reasonable and the toilets were clean. Overall, this is a highly competent local Chinese restaurant that I highly recommend.
Amazing Chinese cuisine that must be tried! My girlfriend recommended this restaurant as she had visited previously with a friend and it was a great shout! We shared two starters and two mains with two sides and it did not disappoint! Fresh, generous, well presented food that tasted just as good washed down with a tsingtao beer! We couldn’t finish the food and the staff were happy to box up our left overs for us to take home! Happy days!

Since Singapore Garden moved to say i was disappointed was an understatment . We had Lemon chicken, sweet sour rice, chips etc Chips were £4 !!!! £4 **** quid ??? The sauce was like a thick jelly , **** horrible . The chips were partly cooked and egg fried rice was over cooked. We were on holiday , we will be giving this a wide miss next time if were down here.
Waited 40 minutes to place an order. Half of the starters arrived with the main courses. Service utterly rubbish they were all too busy servicing takeaway orders. We travelled to get here. We won't be bothering again. The food was pleasant enough but it doesn't normally take us three hours to eat an evening meal!
Booked a table for 7 people… Got there and there as a note on the door saying closed until the 3rd august. Why take our booking if they knew they were closed.. very disappointed.. We weren’t the only people who had booked. They had a name and number to call to let us know they’d be shut and didn’t…
We ate quite early in the evening because we were going to the cinema there were other people eating too so the atmosphere was lovely the food was excellent with so much choice the waitresses were very attentive and friendly hoping to go back soon

We have eaten there twice now and the food is awesome, staff are brilliant, The portion size is excellent, after starters we just share a main just glad we have found our new Chinese restaurant. Keep up the good work guys xxx
