Had a meal out on the 4th October 2023, not too enamoured by the food, or the bill; £75 for 2 people with no alcoholic drinks (small soda water £4:95 and small sparkling water £4:95), but this is not the reason for the review. On the evening of the 5th, I fell very sick, vomiting, diarrhoea, having to take 2 days off work to recoverer. I thought nothing of it, until I found out the person I dined with had exactly the same over the same time frame. Look at my reviews, I am not one to complain, but this wiped me out for 2 days! This restaurant absolutely delivered for our special occasion. They opened slightly earlier to allow us to do small decorations and bring in the birthday cake. They were incredibly accommodating. The waitress Elena was so attentive to our needs and served everything with a smile. The food was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. The place is small and cozy. Highly recommend! I purchased a takeout after work, this food was soooo delicious! I had salt and pepper chicken, sweet n sour prawn balls and Katsu curry chicken , I should of got the prawn crackers too.
