I visited this club for the first time on Thursday, August 15, 2019. I really appreciated the architectural design of the complex it was part of—it’s located on the second floor, while the restrooms and other businesses are on the first. The club itself was spacious, clean, and played nice music, but that’s where the positives ended. By 10 PM, the crowd was surprisingly sparse, and I expected summer would attract more people. The bar service left much to be desired, and the drinks were underwhelming. The cocktails were served in very small plastic cups for $15 each, not including the tip! Fire Island is a lovely place to visit with its beautiful beaches, but I don't think it's worth spending...
I had a troubling experience at this bar. After my friend used the restroom, the staff treated him very rudely and asked him to leave. They wrongfully accused him of being on drugs, even though he had only purchased a few drinks. I noticed that other customers often went to the bathroom in pairs or groups without facing similar scrutiny. I can't help but feel this was racially motivated, as my friend is Asian and the accusations seemed directed specifically at him. The staff seemed to be watching him closely and even grabbed his arm as he exited the restroom. I would advise caution when choosing where to go.
On my way out, I walked past a conversation between someone from the group I came with and someone who was manning the bottom of the stairs, presumably from the venue. The apparent employee was telling my friend, I 'd totally invite you, then he turned to me and said, You? Nah, just...nah. I had not asked. Not even nonverbally. About anything. I just gave him a dark look and kept walking.
It was a peaceful evening here in the Pines. Due to the northeastern storm, the ferry service was canceled. I enjoyed a lovely drink with my daughter. The place was clean and welcoming, and the bartender was very accommodating.

I visited this restaurant for the first time with my friend on a weekend this year and have been back since. Both the restaurant and the DJ were pretty cool.
Take a sip from your delicious drink served by a hot bartender)and twirl away on the beautifully lighted dance floor listening to one of their superb dj’s.
The music was elegant and the suspender clad barkeeps tended to my every need providing me with liquid libations til my heart's content.

We had a great time on the top floor of a brand new building that seemed untouched by time, with wooden beams that still smelled fresh.
Sip N Twirl is a FIRE ISLAND staple. One of the best dance floors on the island and they always book top notch djs.... like me lol
