Sip Savor Cocktail Eats

Sip Savor is the bar inside of the Crowne Plaza. I have been here a lot of times over the years and it seems they are trying to do a new menu and rebrand with a new name. The staff is friendly and works hard but they need some help. Bartender Server has to spend time running Room Service orders to the rooms. The drinks are meh, The cocktail menu lists ingredients they do not have. I ordered a second Margarita and had it made with a mix and then dumped into the first glass I had already used. The pasta I had was bland and mushy with not much flavor. The steak dinner had a laughing few pieces of vegetables. My husband and I stayed at the hotel and decided to stop in the bar for a drinks, so we thought. As we walked in, both bartenders acknowledged us, hey guys, welcome, Happy New Year. That was all. They were having a very deep conversation with another patron about bellinis. in the entire establishment it was the bellini guy at the bar, myself, my husband and a family of 4 sitting at a table in the corner. We were there maybe 5 minutes, and then decided to leave. As we were entering the elevator, one of the bartenders, the female asked, Did yall need something? ' ' My husband and I just looked at each other and thought to our selves, ummm, we wanted a drink, but......Overall, drink in your roo...

Wow, great food and very reasonable!!! Beautiful hotel and appreciate a gorgeous interior design. Especially the tribute to Chicago architecture. Staff was great and good was delicious. My new favorite spot in town!!!

$8 for a Lagunitas IPA at a hotel bar? No thanks. Bartender was attentive and pot stickers were decent.
