Let me start by saying that I have never written a food review for any restaurant in my life. I go out to eat very often and when I go out to dinner, the food is good but not worth writing a review for, because it is nothing special. Myself and my girlfriend went to Misters Bistro and I'm happy to say that the meal we had last night is beyond worthy of my first review. Our dinner last night truly blew us away. The ambience here is incredible. A traditional Victorian home with rap-around porch and antique interior decor, it’s perfect for a romantic evening out with a partner or a classy family dinner. Lots of healthy and vegetarian/vegan options. Eclectic menu with great use of interesting flavors. Think coffee and chili meat rubs, vegetables cooked in ways you didn’t know possible, locally foraged fresh herbs, and odd combinations of flavors you never knew you’d love. If you appreciate good food in a good environment, you must visit Misters Bistro.
My granddaughter is vegan, so it can be challenging to find a restaurant that accommodates dietary restrictions. However, everything we tried here was amazing! We will definitely come back when we visit Old Forge again!
